PANIC PRIEST (RECORD RELEASE PARTY)
FREE MONDAY: PANIC PRIEST (RECORD RELEASE) –
with New Canyons / Jenny Pulse / Wingtips (DJ Set)
The Empty Bottle Chicago
Panic Priest: The brainchild of Jack Armando (My Gold Mask) – Music showcasing death, sex and doomed romance, and yet also encompassing the talents of Jack Armando and his singing / songwriting / and quite awesome guitar playing.
Jack’s sound is drenched in snyths and Darkwave, with a combination of forlorn vocal, with a dash of longing for romance that inevitably becomes doomed.
This special Free Monday from the one and only Empty Bottle for Jack’s official record release, makes for an exquisite evening of lushfull music, accompanied by Andrew and Adam of New Canyons, along with Jenny Pulse, and DJ sets between acts from Vincent and Hannah of Wingtips.
All n’ all, a wonderful night of dark and ethereal music from top to bottom.
Keep in mind that Jack Armando’s special record release is all self produced and written by him, aided and supported on the release by friends and guest musicians.
Also, the record cover of Jack Armando and Panic Priest was photographed by me: A close up black and white pose shot of Jack staring off into the ether, like in a dream, with hands comforting his face courtesy of Olivia Nash.
The long awaited debut album is here, with dream like guitars and wall to wall synths cascading down with melodies on top of melodies to comfort your long lost soul.
Jack Armando and his project Panic Priest.
Can’t wait to hear more form him.
Love this dude.
