Live Performance at JBTV Music Television
Tuesday 4/9/19

With “Bridges” , their latest single as brother and sister duo BROODS, New Zealand’s Georgia and Caleb Nott have established themselves as one of the fastest rising new acts to emerge during the second half of 2013.
In the month since they uploaded “Bridges” on soundcloud, BROODS have been championed online, radio and print tastemakers worldwide, in the process racking up over 200,000 plays on soundcloud, and building a substantial social media following in the process.
On their latest release “Don’t Feed the Pop Monster”, Georgia Nott states that the album and its aim was to “make songs that are true to us and without hiding behind any kind of facade.”
BROODS have an attractive appeal performing live, songs with uplift and meaning, and a no holds barred approach to performing, what with Georgia performing as all get out, and making good use of her tambourine on the drum riser as a fine example.
The beats and bouncy grooves are a perfect break from the chaos we experience when out into the world, and BROODS provide that release with shimmering songs that captivate and delight.
To have then appear on our intimate stage at JBTV makes everything all so worthwhile.
