NOCTURNA: with THE BELLWHETHER SYNDICATE & AUTUMN

NOCTURNA:
with DJ SCARY LADY SARAH, Plus: Music by The Bellwhether Syndicate and Autumn
Metro Chicago
Saturday August 24th 2019

The Bellwhether Syndicate, fronted by William Faith (formerly of Faith & the Muse, Christian Death, Mephisto Waltz, Shadow Project, Sex Gang Children, The March Violets, etc,), and Sarah Rose (also widely known as DJ Scary Lady Sarah), round out their 13 date west coast tour at the one and only Metro Chicago.
As part of the festivities of Sarah’s Nocturna, a bi monthly (or thereabouts) alternative dance night held at the Metro, was held a bit earlier than usual on this Saturday night to present live and in concert The Bellwhether Syndicate and Autumn – US.
A splendid way to start the evening, and to end this tour on their home turf, with an enthusiastic crowd which arrived early to hear the dark and sinister beats of William and his band Bellwhether, and the captivating music from openers Autumn.
Both bands sound as fresh as ever, presenting their unique styles and emotional weaves that so enlighten the faithful for this kind of music.
Don’t want to pontificate at length here- would rather my photos of both bands do the talking.
Suffice it to say that I have an immense amount of gratitude to be able to work with both bands over a period of time, and look forward to their shows immensely, let alone the chance to have a chat with them, and revel in the camaraderie.
The Metro and their PA make them both sound as fresh as ever, and have to say, nothing compares to photographing bands performing live at the Metro under the iconic staging and molding.
The Metro.
A place like none other.
Hope you dig the photos with the Bellwhether Syndicate and Autumn.
Cheers- Bobby Talamine – Music Photographer
