Chris Connelly impersonating David Bowie.

Doesn’t matter if it was a brief set (this was 3 songs only), or a full set with his true cover band on all things Bowie: Sons of the Silent Age.
The man commands the stage, and lets loose with the vocal and costume and makeup.
It’s always captivating to witness live- watching Chris Connelly command the stage and reach the complexity which is all things BOWIE.
Having guitar maestro Geno Lenardo shredding away with the opener “Rebel Rebel” sets the groundwork for celebration: Geno’s credentials are already well known: working and collaborating with Richard Patrick and his band Filter, for starters.
Trust me when I say he’s no slouch when strapped to a solid Fender Guitar. A genuine badass.
Although the set was so brief- still grateful to Geno for allowing me to shoot this event, and have fun at the Davis Theater.
