It’s cool that Chicago’s revered dance music promoter React Presents has this event once a month at JBTV Music Television in Chicago: Lunch Break with React Presents: a live stream that features guest DJ’s during a Friday afternoon, and July’s edition featured the one and only Paul Johnson, a self taught DJ / artist, a talent with pulsating energy and a passion for all things “HOUSE” – times ten.
A venerable raw talent, and total dedication to his craft, alongside a deep love and understanding for house music have made Paul Johnson one of the most sought after DJ’s in the world.
Paul Johnson’s musical resume is both extensive and oh so impressive, he released his first record back in 1990, titled “Overload”, on Dance Mania Records.
Paul Johnson knows how to work up a crowd, whether it be late at night at one of Chicago’s hot nightspots, or at 2 in the afternoon at JBTV studios in Chicago.
He sure knows how to pack a dance floor, and keep them moving, keep them interested from beginning to end.
Much much respect goes out to Paul Johnson and also DJ Hyperactive, who kept things vibrant, and kept things dancing at JBTV Music Television.
