REACT w/ JBTV PRESENTS: FIGURE
REACT & JBTV Presents Lunch Break with FIGURE
With Special Guests: Porn and Chicken
JBTV Music Television Chicago
Friday 11/2/18
React, in partnership with JBTV Music Television continues with its once a month residency called Lunch Break, with none other than heavy on the bass and then some: FIGURE.
Hosted by Porn and Chicken’s Dom Brown, this monthly event held on a Friday in the mid afternoon has the look and feel of a club gig held after midnight at an exclusive club.
And a special shout out to Dom Brown, who time and time again brings forth top notch talent to provide the mixing in our cozy studio at JBTV in Chicago.
This current lunchtime special features FIGURE, an Indiana based electronic producer / DJ and is definitely known for his signature ultra heavy bass sounds.
It’s quite cool meeting Figure and taking some pose shots of him prior to his performance, with his black leather jacket, and wearing a Misfits t shirt.
That to me is the definition of cool, and then witnessing firsthand from the stage the ultra heavy mix of his beats and low end bass.
FIGURE is currently on a North American tour which is headlined as “Bloodbath”, covering all things dark and sinister when it comes to his horror show of nasty beats and bass.
FIGURE: The horror overlord of essential dark and heavy bass. That basically sums him up in a nutshell,
and JBTV with React is truly lucky to have him grace our stage for an intimate and downright rowdy set.
Dom Brown
and Orville Kline, otherwise known as Porn and Chicken, started the Lunch Break off with a quick set of some of their heavy tunes, acting as full on assault cheerleaders to get the crowd pumped up and ready for FIGURE.
Love these guys, even when they can’t bring their full on nutty and in your face performance when they usually headline.
A shame, but still they make the best use of their time, no matter what the circumstances.
All n’ all, a great way to spend a friday afternoon at JBTV Music Television in Chicago.
