Let’s Eat Grandma grace our studio at JBTV for a special mid afternoon live performance.
Rosa Walton and Jenny Hollingsworth first began writing music together when they were 10, and officially released their first album when they were 17.
Shooting short films and recording music while attending college for music, they soon found themselves with a rabid fan base, thanks in large part by their provocative and memorable live shows.
It’s obvious that their live shows have increasingly become more magical, no matter what the stage, or the venue.
You can see that they love performing live, and mixing things up with the audience, whether they allow fans onstage at the end of their set, or by simply jumping into the audience and dance and performing sing alongs.
Call it experimental trance inducing pop, with keyboards and synths at the ready, guitars, saxophones, clapping games, recorders, and a solid drummer to keep everything in check.
Now with increasingly sold out shows, a memorable appearance on Jools Holland, and their fanatical audience ever ready to show up no matter where, all brought in to the strange beauty of their music, Let’s Eat Grandma are compelling and otherworldly in revelation.
Can’t wait to hear more from this captivating duo.
