KITTEN.
Fronted by Chloe Chaidez, who is definitely, and without a doubt, a performer’s performer.
I don’t say this lightly, in regards to what I witnessed firsthand, whether it be soundcheck at JBTV Music Television, the pose session that followed, or actually the main event which was the live taping.
Not only does Chloe blend snappy / punky post punk pop in her music, but she’s also a fearsome and commanding performer when it comes to live performance.
Lots and lots of gymnastics moves, splits, jumps from amplifiers, bodysurfing, and more.
Urgent and upbeat and in your face. That’s Chloe Chaidez and her band Kitten.
It’s cool to see the progression firsthand with Chloe and her band Kitten, moving cross country from LA, and truly now, a Brooklyn band at heart.
Whole different vibe, whole different scenery. New York New York, a city that will kick your ass, if you don’t kick it first.
It clearly is a reflection in Chloe’s music as well: now more gutsy, and clearly more aggressive in tone and appeal.
My opinion, with her whipsmart band in tow: more badass things to come.
